msgblock command (1)

SYNOPSIS
msgblock [-score option_string] command arg1 arg2 ... argn
DESCRIPTION
msgblock command locks hosts in a cluster while executing a normal unix command. The purpose of this command is not to disturb parallel program execution that may be evaluating performance on a cluster.

The command arguments are scanned, and if -score keyword is found at the first argument then the number of hosts specified in the followed option string are locked via msgbserver, and command is simply executed. If the -score keyword is found in command arguments, msgblock locks required hosts and executes the command with the SCore option string.
